In the Eastern German city of Schwerin, Heiko Lietz, former GDR civil rights activist and co-founder of the "Neues Forum" party, remembers the peaceful demonstrations for freedom in autumn 1989, where he held important speeches. He also talks about Round Tables, still using them today for integrative social projects. He talks about experiences and special points in his life, disappointments with our actual society, but also about hope and still important wishes.

An Afro-latino family in Brooklyn runs a local bodega in their neighborhood. A new organic store owner moves across the street with plans of expanding his empire and taking over the bodega. This Brooklynite Tribe must band together to save their business and community from being gentrified.
Wonderfully monotonous peace reigns in the most beautiful village in the world until farm animals with severed legs are frequently discovered. The small community is thrown into turmoil. While some villagers believe in an old cruel legend, the local policeman Aldo tries to solve the mysterious case. The brutal murders start to increase - and with them the distrust of the villagers.
